About Tom Teicher
Tom Teicher is the author of A Basic Deal.
For 10 years he served as the Housing Contracts Manager
at Downtown Emergency Service Center,
a nonprofit agency that helps reduce homelessness in Seattle.
​
For the prior 12 years he was the Executive Director of Interaction Transition,
an organization that helps ex-felons re-integrate into the community
upon their release from prison.
Tom received a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College,
a law degree from Vanderbilt University,
and an MBA from the University of Washington.
He lives in Seattle.
Tom wishes to express his gratitude to the many friends and colleagues
